Domo is Fantastic.
I've been coming here for years. The food is good & the staff is always super nice to us. Their house rolls are delicious, fan of the Habanero Hamachi & the Domo house roll, but if you have something else in mind, just ask them to make it for you. The sushi chefs have always been super accommodating. Then order a big beer & a large Saki & enjoy yourself. -

Love Domo! Have visited a few times over the past year or two and when deciding if we wanted to move to Santee this was literally one of my reasons.
The sushi is so good and priced reasonably! Servers and hostess gals are always extremely friendly and polite. Note: they will not sit you if your whole party isn't here, even if just two people.
The service is definitely not fast even for take out, but I will still give a 5 star because the sushi is great and service is good. So just a warning if you are in a rush.
My favorite is the Spanish roll- it has crab inside and salmon on top with thin slices of Lemon! So good!
We like the garlic edamame also and my bf who is not a sushi lover, really likes the yakisoba noodles. Decent sized dish.
Best sushi spot in Santee! -

I realize this review is made out of anger/annoyance but when I drive to your business on two separate occasions ~1 hour before you close only to be turned away because you're closing early for the day it's pretty annoying.
If you don't want to be open until your posted times (posted on your door AND on Yelp) you should consider changing your hours.
The food here is good, but there are plenty of sushi places doing sushi just as good. Turning away customers in this economy seems like a poor business choice. -

Been here a couple of times already and just found out that it's owned by the same people as Domo Kitchen in Kearny Mesa. Good variety of rolls and specials on their menu. I've had their Baked Langostino Roll which is baked and very rich. Hot Lips, Domo Roll and Albacore Special was really good and didn't disappoint. The servers are always great and friendly and rolls come out pretty quickly. This would definitely be my go-to spot for sushi in Santee.

I really love this place like literally everything about it. The sushi is so good and creative and the customer service was beyond my expectations. I brought my two year old daughter and they kept her entertained and happy and she loves their rice which is crazy for my picky eater. Number one sushi spot for me out this way!
